BWE3 Server: Jade Quarry

I say we link up with the SoF peeps... and unless tehy change it, the server will be Eternal Grove.

So after a quick look over at the SoF forums, their server was axed and I saw a few things about wanting a more competitive server for WvW. Crystal Desert had some really coordinated guilds and were generally always came out on top in WvW. Can anyone with an account of there pitch the idea for them? I generally liked the server we were on and if we can get everyone in it would be great.

OK, I guess with that info I know more people than I first thought. I wasn't really on enough this weekend to warrant hopping around, I just wanted to test out some other classes to make sure I was making the right choice for my main. Which I'm 90% sure will be a thief, even though I had a blast with the mesmer.

For some reason relt I thought I had already told you, but I guess I just kinda spaced out. Also I played mesmer almost exclusively the entire weekend, really loving the class. But I still want to play a lot of the professions, I mean warrior, ele, mes, and engi all were really really fun.

I didn't play the warrior at all, but I'll probably have a Charr Warrior just cause I think it'd be a sweet character. But that will be #3. First comes an Asuran Thief then a Sylvari Mesmer. The Mesmer was going to be a Guardian, but I wasn't as big a fan as I thought I would be.

I agree about the guardian, though I do think they are strong. As much as it seemed an almost obvious choice since I played a lot of monk in GW, it just never felt right for me. Mesmer and warrior though just felt right, so definitely my first two classes.

Ele, I loved, but it's got.... carry the seven.... Divide by pie, and raise to the power of i....
Roughly 100 skills, before you get into the non-weapon oriented skills and traits. Going to be a full time effort to get the most out of the Ele.

Yeah, the ele really shines as a support machine with all the combo fields and has some good damage and escapes from situations; really strong class overall. One that really was fun that I completely didn't expect was the engineer. Once you get utilities, I think engineer is probably the most fun class to play. definitely going to be making one on release as an alt.

Ok. So now that we are actually using forums...a rather nasty issue. Officer/Member colors on the names are almost impossible to read. Suggestions for what to change them to?

Yellow or light blue

Orange might work as well

The only two that need changing are the blue of whatever group mine is and the dark purple of Korhal etc. Maybe just consolidate the groups? I think all of the other colors in use work great for this forum scheme, though an orange wouldn't be bad, as long as it wasn't too neon.
