Types of Personal Story

Please, NO SPOILERS here. The point of this thread is the type of story, not the actual content.
Having experienced some of the initial stories for 3 of the races, I've noticed a decided difference in mood for them.
Asura, Kinetics story: Adventure with a dramatic ending.
Asura, Infinity Ball Story: A laugh riot. Any story that uses a magic 8 ball (called a magic infinity ball) capable of so much...hard for it to be anything else but funny.
Norn, Passed out drunk story: A laugh riot, and where the line "Stupid Tree." appears.
Sylvari, White Stag: Very serious. Not even a trace of the themed humor that was prevelant in the Asuran Asuran Kinetics story.
In finding these differences, it occurs to me that early character choices can greatly affect enjoyment of the game.
