Korhal application
hey there, i am korhal.
I have been with OH in guildwars since 2006, so i figure ill see how the new odins hammer goes in guildwars 2. I like PvE but it the later days of guildwars i stuck to Pvp. I hope that this guild expands and that we get to where we were in the good old days. Also i am hoping to still be an officer in this guild as i was in guildwars.
Re: Korhal application
Welcome aboard the GW2 train, Korhal. I've seen you poking around in GW1 (and I see you gave me something on a recent visit while I was out...) We'll get you settled into spot properly. I think the vote on the edit to the charter has ended, but you are welcome to comment on it once you get access to the thread.

Re: Korhal application
Nabbed a new computer myself.
Actually, I nabbed a new video card, so that I could add a 3rd monitor and run tripple-head in GW2.
The old computer didn't like it, in a catastrophic way (Blue screens, snow crashes, hangs within safe mode, etc, suchon and soforth). Rather than troubleshoot an unexplained not-working element on that PC (again) that also failed to boot from the recovery partition, I wandered past the local store and nabbed something newer.
It's AMD, something between the I5 and I7 in power, I'm given to understand. 6 cores and full of tech terms I quit trying to follow years ago. I push power, it turns on. Without error. It even boots. Without complaint --- Yay, my world is much happier! No more failed windows updates. No more mystery windows-app launches. Well mostly happier. Mystery HP-App launches are now the problem. That aside, it seems I need an extra bit to get all 3 monitors going at once. A small USB-powered widget not sold by the local stores, so that's due to be shipped sometime in the next week.

Re: Korhal application
Haha, it's called 'busy.'
Here's the lowdown then.
Graduated college, have a full time job programming, trying to do some game programming on the side, also working on my drawing and music skills, playing board games with some RL friends, got a new car that I entered into a car show etc this last Sat. That's the quick and dirty.
